A senior Cambodian military delegation led by Samdech Pichey Sena Tea Banh, Deputy Prime Minister, Minister of National Defence, will attend two important events in China from Oct. 18 to 22, 2019.
According to a press release from the Ministry of National Defence made public yesterday, the two events include the opening ceremony of the Military World Games scheduled for Oct. 18 in Wuhan, Hubei province and the 9th Beijing Xiangshan Forum to be held from Oct. 20 to 22 in Beijing.
At the 9th Beijing Xiangshan Forum, Samdech Tea Banh will join a discussion on key topics related to security issues in the region. He will also give a speech at the 3rd plenary session on Interests of Small and Medium-Sized Countries, and Common Security.
The participation of the Cambodian delegation will be made at the invitation of Gen. Wei Fenghe, Chinese State Councillor and Minister of National Defence.
Apart from the two events, Samdech Tea Banh will hold a bilateral meeting with his Chinese counterpart to strengthen and expand bilateral cooperation between the two friendly countries, especially in the military sector.
