Three Road Infrastructure Projects with China’s Support Planned 

Three roads projects have been planned to be built with support from the Chinese government, announced Prime Minister Samdech Akka Moha Sena Padei Techo Hun Sen.

Speaking at the inauguration ceremony of Prince Manor Resort in Kandal province on Oct. 7, the Premier said the projects have been approved and the Ministry of Economy and Finance and the Ministry of Public Works and Transport have been assigned to work on the projects.

The projects are to rebuild the National Road (NR) No. 41 linking NR4 to Kampot province, and NR31 and NR33 in Kampot province.

China has so far provided a lot of grants and loans for Cambodia to build and improve roads and bridges to facilitate transportation and traffic.

Cambodia’s road and bridge infrastructure backed by China include NR58, NR10, NR8, Prek Kdam Bridge Prek Tamak Bridge, and so on.
