Top Leaders Congratulates PM Hun Sen on World Summit Peace Medal

Cambodian top leaders have sent congratulatory messages to Prime Minister Samdech Akka Moha Sena Padei Techo Hun Sen on receiving the World Summit Peace Medal from the recent 7th World Rally of Hope, as the Co-Chair of the Peace Summit on Korean peninsula and in the world in 2021.

In two separate royal letters dated Sept. 13, His Majesty Preah Bat Samdech Preah Boromneath Norodom Sihamoni, King of Cambodia, and Her Majesty the Queen-Mother Norodom Monineath Sihanouk extended his congratulations to Samdech Techo Hun Sen and praised him for his supreme heroism and wise leadership bringing about peace, social stability and development in all sectors to the country, and forming good cooperation with other countries in the region and the world, thus enhancing Cambodia’s prestige on international arena.

The monarchs wished the Premier and his spouse as well as their family members more success and the four gems of Buddhist blessings of Longevity, Nobility, Health and Strength.

“This is a great pride for the Cambodian nation and people and Samdech Akka Moha Sena Padei Techo deserves it (medal),” wrote Acting Head of State, Samdech Vibol Sena Pheakdei Say Chhum, and National Assembly President, Samdech Akka Moha Ponhea Chakrei Heng Samrin in their congratulatory messages.

Thanks to Samdech Techo’s Win-Win policy, they added, the Cambodian people have been enjoying true peace, the right to life and development.

The Win-Win policy is a good model for the region and the world at present and in the future, the acting head of state underlined.

At the same time, the management of government ministries and institutions also expressed their sincere congratulations to Samdech Techo Prime Minister.

The “7th World Rally of Hope: Think-Tank 2022” was organised by the Universal Peace Federation on Sept. 12 via videoconference under the theme "Peace in the Asia-Pacific".
