Ministry of Information will start the digitalisation of the state-owned National Television of Kampuchea (TVK) in 2021.
The news was reaffirmed by Minister of Information H.E. Khieu Kanharith during the ministry’s celebration of the 109th Anniversary of International Women’s Day (Mar. 8) lately.
As planned the installation will be completed by 2023 and the television’s scope of service will accordingly be broader, he added.
Not only TVK, but also the Agence Kampuchea Presse (AKP) and the National Radio of Kampuchea (RNK) must be digitalised, said H.E. Minister, adding that the digitalisation is expected to cost between US$200 and US$300 million.
