The Asian Vision Institute (AVI), and Konrad Adenauer Stiftung (KAS) Cambodia have successfully launched the publishing of Cambodia's ASEM Chairmanship 2020: Small Country with Big Tasks.
This book was launched late last week here in Phnom Penh under the chairmanship of H.E. Dr. Sok Siphana, the Royal Government of Cambodia's Advisor, and Dr. Daniel Schmucking, KAS Country Director.
The launch of the publication took place alongside with productive discussion on the Asia-Europe Meeting (ASEM) Summit 2020 under the theme of Two Continents are Getting Closer: Agenda, Drivers and Ways.
The Asia-Europe Meeting 2020 will be hosted in Cambodia. As you can imagine, it's a big task for a small country, said Mr. Daniel Schmucking during the discussion.
He continued that the exercise will give Cambodians the unique opportunity to present their extraordinary cultural heritage and insinuate traditional Khmer music, peoples and country to the world.
