The Union of Youth Federations of Cambodia (UYFC) held here at the National Olympic Stadium this morning a meeting to commemorate its 41st founding anniversary.
The event was presided over by H.E. Hun Many, President of UYFC, with thousands of its members from across the capital city. High-ranking officials as well as foreign ambassadors accredited to Cambodia were also invited to the celebration.
In his speech, H.E. Hun Many recalled the history of the creation of UYFC, its activities and achievements in the past 41 years in contribution to the country's socio-economic development.
According to the UYFC president, with its structure and activities at all ministries and institutions at both national and sub-national levels, UYFC is becoming a role model for the younger generations, i.e. recognising their duties as youths with dynamic and active force for Cambodia at present and in the future.
This evening, a concert under theme "UYFC, One Single Spirit" will be organised at the Win Win Memorial.
Meanwhile, on the same day, UYFC provincial branches also celebrated the 41st founding anniversary of the union.
