20-year-old man arrested for setting up group to sell secretly recorded clips online

Metropolitan Police Bureau arrests '20-year-old man' who set up a group to sell clips taken secretly under women's skirts, obscene and indecent clips, earning 50,000 baht/month. The Metropolitan Police Online Patrol Unit found that there was a group selling pornographic clips, such as secretly taking pictures under the skirts of women, school girls, and university students, in public places such as BTS, shopping malls, and escalators, which is a great danger to society. Today (24 Sept.) police used a search warrant from the Criminal Court No. 903/2567 dated 23 September 2567 to search a room in Soi Ramkhamhaeng 2, Hua Mak Subdistrict, Bang Kapi District, Bangkok, where Mr. Kittithat, age 20, was residing. They showed the search warrant for inspection. The police officers searched the room. The search results seized the following items of evidence: 1. One mobile phone; 2. One iPad; and 3. One bank account book. Initially, the phone and iPad were checked and pornographic clips were found. The investigation found that there was a group selling pornographic clips, such as secretly taken under women's skirts, school children, and university students, in public places such as BTS, shopping malls, and escalators, which is a threat to society. Mr. Kittithat was arrested on charges of 'introducing any computer data that is obscene and that computer data may be accessible to the general public, disseminating or forwarding computer data while knowing that it is obscene, producing or possessing commercial pornography for distribution or for public display, engaging in trade or participating in or being involved in trade related to the aforementioned obscene objects or items, distributing or displaying to the public, or renting such objects or items.' Mr. Kittithat admitted that he went to buy the secretly taken under-skirt clips and then shared them again through a secret group.
