Cabinet approves transfers of treasury departments

Cabinet approves transfers of the Ministry of Economic Affairs, Finance Ministry, 9 positions, 'Pinsai' sits as Director-General of the Revenue Department, 'Kulaya' as Excise Department, 'Danucha' as Secretary-General of the National Economic and Social Development Board for another year, while 'Witthayakorn' as Director-General of the Department of Internal Trade Mr. Chirayu Huangsub, Advisor to the Prime Minister, announced the results of the Cabinet meeting that the Cabinet approved 1. Mr. Ekniti Nitithanpraphat, Director-General of the Excise Department, to be appointed Director-General of the Treasury Department, 2. Ms. Kullaya Tantitemit, Director-General of the Revenue Department, to be appointed Director-General of the Excise Department, 3. Mr. Pinsai Suraswadi, Deputy Permanent Secretary, Office of the Permanent Secretary, to be appointed Director-General of the Revenue Department, 4. Mr. Winij Wisedsuwannaphum, Tax Base Development Advisor (Senior Policy and Plan Analyst), Revenue Department, to b e appointed Deputy Permanent Secretary, Office of the Permanent Secretary. 5. Ms. Suksri Aphinyanuwat, Inspector General of the Ministry, Office of the Permanent Secretary, assumes the position of Deputy Permanent Secretary, Office of the Permanent Secretary. 6. Ms. Pimphen Latpli, Policy and Strategy Advisor (Senior Policy and Plan Analyst), Office of the Permanent Secretary, assumes the position of Inspector General of the Ministry, Office of the Permanent Secretary. 7. Mr. Teeralak Saengsanit, Inspector General of the Ministry, Office of the Permanent Secretary, assumes the position of Deputy Permanent Secretary, Office of the Permanent Secretary. 8. Mr. Atthaphon Atthawaradet, Finance Advisor (Senior Finance Academician), Office of the Permanent Secretary, assumes the position of Inspector General of the Ministry, Office of the Permanent Secretary. 9. Ms. Chutima Sriprachan, Coin and Valuables Management Advisor (Senior Policy and Plan Analyst), Treasury Department, assumes the position of Inspector Gene ral of the Ministry, Office of the Permanent Secretary, effective from October 1, 2024 onwards, from the date of His Majesty the King's appointment. The Cabinet also appointed Ms. Pattira Saipratumtip, Deputy Director-General of the Department of Energy Business, to hold the position of Inspector General of the Ministry, Office of the Permanent Secretary, Ministry of Energy, to replace the person who will retire from the civil service and extend the term of the Secretary-General of the Office of Agricultural Economics (for the first time) to Mr. Chanthanon Wannakhet, Secretary-General of the Office of Agricultural Economics, Ministry of Agriculture and Cooperatives (MOAC), who will complete the position for 4 years on September 30, 2024, for another 1 year (for the first time) from October 1, 2024 to September 30, 2025, starting from September 24, 2024 onwards. The Cabinet resolved to approve, as proposed by the Minister of Natural Resources and Environment, the extension of the tenure of Mr. Chatuporn Buru spat, a civil servant in the position of Permanent Secretary, Office of the Permanent Secretary, Ministry of Natural Resources and Environment (MNRE), who will complete the one-year extension (first time) on 1 September 2024, for another one year (second time) from 1 October 2024 to 30 September 2025, starting from 24 September 2024 onwards. The Cabinet approved the extension of the term of office of Mr. Danucha Pichayanan, a civil servant in the position of Secretary-General of the National Economic and Social Development Council (NESDC), Office of the Prime Minister, who will complete his 4-year term on 30 September 2024, for another 1 year (first time) from 1 October 2024 to 30 September 2025, effective from 24 September 2024 onwards. The Cabinet has resolved to approve the proposal of the Minister of Agriculture and Cooperatives to appoint 8 civil servants in the Ministry of Agriculture and Cooperatives to high-level administrative positions to rotate and replace those who will retire, as follows: Mr. Thawon Tanjai, Inspector General of the Ministry, Office of the Permanent Secretary, holds the position of Deputy Permanent Secretary, Office of the Permanent Secretary. Ms. Anchanlee Suwajittanon, Inspector General of the Ministry, Office of the Permanent Secretary, holds the position of Deputy Permanent Secretary, Office of the Permanent Secretary. Mr. Setthakit Krachangwong, Deputy Permanent Secretary, Office of the Permanent Secretary, holds the position of Secretary-General of the Agricultural Land Reform Office. Mr. Nuanit Pholken, Deputy Permanent Secretary, Office of the Permanent Secretary, holds the position of Director-General of the Sericulture Department. Mr. Winaroj Traiphongsuk, Secretary-General of the Agricultural Land Reform Office, holds the position of Director-General of the Cooperative Audit Department. Mr. Chaiwat Yothakon, Inspector General of the Ministry, Office of the Permanent Secretary, holds the position of Secretary-General of the National Bureau of Agricultural Commodity a nd Food Standards. Mr. Thaweesak Thanadechopol, Inspector General of the Ministry, Office of the Permanent Secretary, holds the position of Director-General of the Department of Land Development. Mr. Suriyapol Nuchonong, Deputy Director-General of the Royal Irrigation Department, has been appointed Director-General of the Royal Irrigation Department. From 1 October 2024 onwards, from the date of His Majesty's gracious appointment. The Cabinet has resolved to approve the proposal of the Minister of Digital Economy and Society to appoint 4 civil servants under the Ministry of Digital Economy and Society to high-level executive positions for rotation as follows: Mr. Wethangk Phuangthrap, Deputy Permanent Secretary, Office of the Permanent Secretary, holds the position of Secretary-General of the National Digital Economy and Society Commission, Office of the National Digital Economy and Society Commission. Mr. Phuchpong Nodthaisong, Secretary-General of the National Digital Economy and Society Commission, O ffice of the National Digital Economy and Society Commission, holds the position of Director-General of the National Statistical Office. Ms. Piyanuch Wutthison, Director of the National Statistical Office, holds the position of Deputy Permanent Secretary, Office of the Permanent Secretary. Ms. Sukanyani Yawinchan, Inspector General of the Ministry, Office of the Permanent Secretary, will hold the position of Director-General of the Meteorological Department. However, numbers 1 - 3 will be effective from the date of His Majesty's gracious appointment onwards, and number 4 will be effective from 1 October 2024 onwards, from the date of His Majesty's gracious appointment onwards.
