Phnom penh: Cambodian Minister of Posts and Telecommunications H.E. Chea Vandeth met with H.E. Takahashi Fumiaki, President of the Japan-Cambodia Association (JCA), to discuss ongoing and future cooperation in digital skills development and investment.
According to Agence Kampuchea Presse, the meeting, held at the Ministry, reviewed progress in bilateral cooperation and explored ways to further strengthen collaboration across several key areas. These include the IT Pathway programme, which aims to train Cambodian digital talent for employment opportunities in Japan, and support for the development of a digital park master plan by Japanese firm Nippon Koei.
Both sides also discussed investment activities by JCA member companies in Cambodia, as well as growing interest from Japanese firms in the country's digital technology sector. In addition, the two parties considered plans to organise a job fair focused on employment opportunities in Japan, aimed at facilitating exchanges between skilled engineers and students from both countries.
