Cambodia and UK Explore Enhanced Education Collaboration

Phnom penh: H.E. Dr. Hang Chuon Naron, Deputy Prime Minister and Minister of Education, Youth and Sports, recently met with H.E. Dominic Williams, British Ambassador to Cambodia, along with representatives from UK educational institutions, to discuss strengthening education cooperation through teacher training programs and STEM education initiatives.

According to Agence Kampuchea Presse, the meeting took place at the Ministry of Education, Youth and Sports, where H.E. Dr. Hang Chuon Naron expressed his appreciation to the participating universities and educational institutions for their interest in building partnerships and investing in Cambodia's education sector.

The Deputy Prime Minister briefed the delegation on the progress of Cambodia's education reform at the primary and secondary levels. He emphasized that a strong foundation has been established, enabling students to pursue higher education and take advantage of scholarship opportunities abroad.

He also extended his gratitude to the British Embassy in Cambodia for its continued support and facilitation in advancing cooperation between the two countries in the field of education.
