The sanitary and phytosanitary standard on potential agricultural products are being negotiated to boost more export from Cambodia to China.
The highlight was shared in a meeting between H.E. Dith Tina, Cambodian Minister of Agriculture, Forestry and Fisheries (MAFF), and H.E. Shen Danyang, Deputy Governor of Hainan Province of the People's Republic of China at the ministry on Feb. 22.
H.E. Dith Tina spoke highly of the progressing bilateral cooperation between Cambodia and China, especially in agriculture trade.
Currently, Cambodia exports milled rice, fresh banana, fresh mangoes, and dried cassava slices to China.
Other agricultural products including longan, durian, and bird nests have also been listed as potential products for export to the Chinese market.
