Phnom Penh: Cambodia is urging businesspeople, entrepreneurs, investors, and producers to take part in the 22nd China-ASEAN Expo (CAEXPO), which is set to occur from September 17 to 21 in Nanning, the capital city of south China's Guangxi Zhuang Autonomous Region, as outlined in a statement from the Ministry of Commerce yesterday. According to Nam News Network, the CAEXPO serves as a crucial platform for business and investment exchange between the Association of Southeast Asian Nations (ASEAN) member states and China. The event is recognized for facilitating economic collaboration, promoting trade, and fostering regional integration. Thong Mengdavid, a lecturer at the Institute for International Studies and Public Policy of the Royal University of Phnom Penh, emphasized the importance of the annual expo. He noted that it plays a vital role in enhancing economic ties and cooperation between China and ASEAN countries.
