Jakarta: Cambodia has attended the 8th meeting of the Ad Hoc working group on the ASEAN Socio-Cultural Community (SCC) Strategic Development Plan after 2025 in Jakarta, Indonesia. The Cambodian delegation at the meeting was led by H.E. Dr. Dy Khamboly, ASEAN SCC Senior Official of Cambodia. According to Agence Kampuchea Presse, ASEAN SCC Senior Officials from the 10 ASEAN Member States, ASEAN Deputy Secretary-General in charge of ASEAN SCC, members of Ad Hoc working groups, and other relevant delegates joined the meeting. The meeting reviewed the achievements and defined new actions under the ASEAN SCC Strategic Development Plan after 2025. For the next step, the ASEAN Socio-Cultural Community Strategic Development Plan after 2025 will be submitted to the high-level task force of the ASEAN vision (HLTF-ACV) to inform the ASEAN Strategic Plan 2045 to be officially launched in 2025. The 9th meeting of the Ad Hoc working group on the ASEAN Socio-Cultural Community (SCC) Strategic Development Plan after 2025 is scheduled to take place in Thailand on Jan. 14.
