Preah vihear: In a demonstration of national solidarity, Minister of Information H.E. Neth Pheaktra has delivered a major consignment of essential supplies to frontline soldiers stationed along the border in Preah Vihear province.
According to Agence Kampuchea Presse, on Saturday, Mr. Khoy Khunho, a member of the Provincial Council, alongside Ms. Hem Sokunpisey, Director of the Provincial Department of Information, led a delegation to distribute food and essential goods donated by H.E. Neth Pheaktra, Minister of Information. The delegation was received by Lieutenant General Prum Pheng, Deputy Commander of the Royal Cambodian Army and Commander of Intervention Brigade 1, during a ceremony marked by strong professional and fraternal ties between the civilian administration and the armed forces.
Speaking on behalf of the Minister, Mr. Khoy Khunho expressed profound gratitude for the sacrifices made by troops stationed at the border. "While our officials are occupied with administrative duties in the rear, their hearts and spirits remain with our soldiers on the front lines," he stated. "This contribution is a testament to our solidarity and a recognition of the immense sacrifices made by our military to maintain national peace."
In response, Lt. Gen. Prum Pheng extended his appreciation to Minister Neth Pheaktra for his consistent support of troop welfare. He emphasised that such initiatives reflect the unified spirit of the Cambodian people, civil servants, and the military in their shared mission to protect territorial integrity.
