Stung Treng:The Ministry of Tourism, in collaboration with the Stung Treng Provincial Administration, will host the Cambodia-Laos Friendship Fun Run on October 19. This event commemorates the 70th anniversary of diplomatic relations between Cambodia and Laos.
According to Agence Kampuchea Presse, the fun run will begin at 600 a.m. at the Preah Phirun Roundabout in Stung Treng province. This gathering celebrates the enduring friendship between the two neighboring nations.
Registration for the event is free and will remain open until October 16, 2026. Interested participants can register using the QR code provided in the Ministry of Tourism's announcement. Registered participants will receive a T-shirt, water, beverages, and snacks, with the first 100 finishers earning commemorative medals.
Participants are advised to collect their T-shirts on October 17 and 18, from 800 a.m. to 500 p.m., at the Tourist Information Centre in Sekong Park, Stung Treng province.
Cambodia and Laos established their diplomatic relations on June 15, 1956.
