Cambodia Reaffirms Commitment for Long-Standing Relations with Pakistan

Phnom penh: Acting Head of State Samdech Akka Moha Sena Padei Techo HUN Sen has highlighted Cambodia's commitment to further boosting the bilateral relations with Pakistan, in his congratulatory message on the Pakistan Day.

According to Agence Kampuchea Presse, Samdech Techo extended his heartfelt congratulations and best wishes to H.E. Syed Yousuf Raza GILANI, Chairman of the Senate of the Islamic Republic of Pakistan, on the occasion of the 86th Anniversary of Pakistan Day. In his message, dated March 20, he expressed congratulations on behalf of the Senate of the Kingdom of Cambodia and himself.

Samdech Techo emphasized the value placed by Cambodia on the long-standing diplomatic relations with Pakistan, which have been nurtured since 1952. He noted that the recent visit of H.E. Syed Yousuf Raza GILANI to Cambodia signifies a mutual commitment to further enhance bilateral relations for mutual benefits.

The message concluded with Samdech Techo's readiness to work closely with the Pakistani Senate Chairman to boost parliamentary cooperation. This collaboration aims to deepen Cambodia-Pakistan ties, contributing to regional and global peace, stability, and prosperity.
