Kuala lumpur: The Royal Government of Cambodia has reaffirmed its commitment to supporting frontline soldiers and their families, emphasizing the state's duty to those serving in the nation's armed forces. Cambodia's First Lady Lok Chumteav Dr. Pich Chanmony addressed a gathering of military families at the Koh Pich Theatre in Phnom Penh, highlighting that the welfare of personnel defending the country remains a top policy priority.
According to Agence Kampuchea Presse, Lok Chumteav Dr. Pich Chanmony reiterated the government's dedication to providing comprehensive support to frontline soldiers and their families. During the event, she distributed relief packages designed to offset daily living costs and relayed messages of support from Senate President Samdech Akka Moha Sena Padei Techo Hun Sen, the Cambodian Red Cross President Samdech Kittiprittpundit Bun Rany Hun Sen, and Prime Minister Samdech Moha Borvor Thipadei Hun Manet.
The First Lady also expressed gratitude to both domestic and international donors for their humanitarian contributions, underscoring the importance of national unity under the principle of "Khmer helping Khmer."
