Cambodia Shines with Three Medals at Asian Ju-Jitsu Championship

Almaty: Cambodian athletes have bagged three medals, including two gold and one bronze, at the ongoing 10th Asian Ju-Jitsu Championship in Kazakhstan, Cambodia's National Olympic body said Friday.

According to Agence Kampuchea Presse, the National Olympic Committee of Cambodia (NOCC) reported that the Cambodian delegation delivered a strong performance at the continental tournament being held in Almaty. The championship, which kicked off on July 13 and runs through July 19, has brought together top-tier competitors from across Asia.

Organisers said the event highlights the commitment of the Ju-Jitsu Asian Union (JJAU) and the Ju-Jitsu International Federation (JJIF) to elevate athletic standards and foster the sport's growth across the region. The tournament also serves as a key platform for athletes to promote mutual respect, build friendships, and strengthen regional cooperation, officials added.
