O'beichoan: The Cambodia-Thailand Joint Survey Team has embarked on a mission to create a photographic map using drones, capturing images between border posts 42 and 47 in the O'Beichoan commune, O'Chrov district of Banteay Meanchey province, Cambodia, and Sa Kaeo province, Thailand.
According to Agence Kampuchea Presse, the next phase for the Joint Survey Team involves installing temporary border markers in the specified area. This initiative follows a preparatory meeting held on November 18, where the heads of the Cambodian and Thai technical operation teams convened at the Poipet International Border Gate. The meeting aimed to finalize the implementation plan based on the recently approved Technical Instruction.
The temporary border marker installation between posts 42 and 47 aligns with the decisions made during the Cambodia-Thailand Joint Boundary Commission (JBC) Meeting, which took place on October 21-22, 2025.
