Cambodian Minister of Agriculture, Forestry and Fisheries H.E. Veng Sakhon received here yesterday Mr. Arnaud Darc, Chairman of European Chamber of Commerce in Cambodia (EuroCham).
According to the ministry's news release, both sides discussed the new chapter on Agro Business in the third edition of EuroCham White Book.
Mr. Arnaud Darc briefed H.E. Minister on the new chapter, explaining that it is aimed at creating a favorable environment for agro business in order to enhance competitiveness.
The new chapter consists of five key topics � prohibited substances, fight against illegal agricultural materials, labour regulations, agricultural diversification, and agricultural water testing in accordance with legal requirements, he added.
For his part, H.E. Veng Sakhon expressed his full support for the EuroCham's White Book and welcomed the new chapter on Agro Business, which is in line with the ministry's commitment to develop the agro-business.
