According to Nam News Network, Cambodia's UN ambassador, Chhea Keo, called for an immediate and unconditional ceasefire with Thailand following recent border clashes between the two countries. The Cambodian ambassador emphasized the need for a peaceful resolution to the border dispute, speaking to reporters after a closed-door meeting of the Security Council.
Thailand, represented by Cherdchai, urged Cambodia to immediately cease all hostilities and acts of aggression. Thailand called for the resumption of dialogue in good faith to address the ongoing tensions.
