Cambodian Defence Minister Provides Essential Supplies to Frontline Troops in Preah Vihear

Phnom penh: Deputy Prime Minister and Minister of National Defence H.E. Gen. Tea Seiha has delivered 330 boxes of canned fish to troops stationed at the 1st Battlefield Direction in Preah Vihear, as part of the Royal Cambodian Armed Forces' 4th Military Region.

According to Agence Kampuchea Presse, the provisions were dispatched on the afternoon of September 3 via Maj. Gen. Sin Sinat, Deputy Director of the Supply Department. H.E. Lt. Gen. Srey Dek, Deputy Commander of the Royal Cambodian Army and Commander of the 3rd Intervention Division, officially received the donation in the presence of senior officers and frontline troops.

In his remarks, H.E. Lt. Gen. Srey Dek expressed gratitude to the national leadership, highlighting the contributions of Acting Head of State Samdech Akka Moha Sena Padei Techo Hun Sen, Cambodian Red Cross President Samdech Kittiprittpundit Bun Rany Hun Sen, Prime Minister Samdech Moha Borvor Thipadei Hun Manet, the First Lady Lok Chumteav Dr. Pich Chanmony, and Defence Minister H.E. Gen. Tea Seiha and his spouse for their ongoing commitment to the welfare of troops stationed along the border.

"The leadership consistently prioritises the livelihoods of our officers and soldiers who are serving the critical mission of safeguarding territorial integrity along our frontiers," stated H.E. Lt. Gen. Srey Dek. He also acknowledged the Ministry of National Defence and the General Department of Logistics, Finance, and Supply for ensuring a steady flow of supplies to forces positioned along the Cambodian-Thai border.

H.E. Lt. Gen. Srey Dek further affirmed the operational readiness of the 3rd Intervention Division and the 1st Battlefield Direction Command, reiterating their dedication to executing all defense mandates and securing the border sector.
