Phnom penh: H.E. Lieutenant General Rath Dararoth, Secretary of State at the Ministry of National Defence, received a courtesy call and held a working meeting with a delegation from the International Committee of the Red Cross (ICRC), led by Ms. Dorsa Nazemi Salma, Head of Delegation of the ICRC in Cambodia.
According to Agence Kampuchea Presse, the meeting took place at the Ministry of National Defence on April 1, focusing on an exchange of views regarding the current situation along the Cambodia-Thailand border. The discussion also covered the ICRC delegation's recent field visit to the border areas.
During the meeting, H.E. Lieutenant General Rath Dararoth expressed his profound appreciation for the ICRC's significant role, particularly concerning the Cambodia-Thailand border situation. He also acknowledged the ICRC's support in facilitating the safe repatriation of 18 Cambodian soldiers back to the country.
