Cambodian Deputy Prime Minister to Visit New Zealand and Australia

Cambodia: Cambodian Deputy Prime Minister, H.E. Prak Sokhonn, Minister of Foreign Affairs and International Cooperation, is set to embark on an official visit to New Zealand and Australia on Friday. This visit is aimed at enhancing bilateral relations and cooperation, as stated in a press release from the Ministry of Foreign Affairs and International Cooperation (MFAIC).

According to Agence Kampuchea Presse, H.E. Prak Sokhonn's itinerary includes a visit to New Zealand from March 13-14, followed by an official visit to Australia from March 15-16. These visits are being conducted at the invitations of the Rt. Hon. Winston Peters, Minister of Foreign Affairs of New Zealand, and Senator the Hon. Penny Wong, Minister for Foreign Affairs of Australia.

The meetings between Deputy Prime Minister Prak Sokhonn and his counterparts in New Zealand and Australia are expected to strengthen bilateral relations and collaboration across various sectors. The discussions will also focus on contributing to peace, security, stability, and prosperity in the region and beyond.
