Phnom Penh: H.E. Prak Sokhonn, the Deputy Prime Minister and Minister of Foreign Affairs and International Cooperation of Cambodia, will depart for China tomorrow. His visit, scheduled to last until December 1, comes at the invitation of the Chinese government. According to Agence Kampuchea Presse, during his four-day visit, H.E. Prak Sokhonn will engage in bilateral meetings with Chinese counterparts, including H.E. Wang Yi, the Minister of Foreign Affairs of the People's Republic of China, and H.E. Liu Jianchao, Minister of the International Department of the Central Committee of the Communist Party of China. The agenda also includes meetings with other Chinese dignitaries. The Cambodian Ministry of Foreign Affairs and International Cooperation highlighted that the visit coincides with the 2024 People-to-People exchange year. It aims to enhance the longstanding relations and robust friendship between Cambodia and China, emphasizing the significance of strengthening bilateral ties.
