Phnom penh: His Majesty Preah Bat Samdech Preah Boromneath Norodom Sihamoni, King of Cambodia, has conveyed condolences to His Majesty King Maha Vajiralongkorn Phra Vajiraklaochaoyuhua of Thailand following the passing of Her Royal Highness Princess Bajrakitiyabha Narendira Debyavati. In a royal message dated June 12, His Majesty expressed profound sorrow upon learning of the Princess's passing.
According to Agence Kampuchea Presse, His Majesty stated, 'Her Majesty the Queen Mother joins me in expressing our sincere condolences and sympathy to Your Majesty and to all members of the Royal Family at this time of profound grief.' He further added, 'Our thoughts and prayers are with Your Majesty and all members of the Royal Family.' The Cambodian monarch expressed hope that the cherished memory of Princess Bajrakitiyabha and the exemplary legacy of service she leaves behind would remain a source of inspiration and strength for all who mourn her passing.
Her Royal Highness Princess Bajrakitiyabha Narendira Debyavati passed away on June 11 at the age of 47 after more than three years in a coma.
