Cambodian Minister of Environment Receives USAID’s Officials

Minister of Environment of Cambodia H.E. Say Samal received here yesterday afternoon a group of officials of the United States Agency for International Development (USAID) led by Ms. Rebecca Black, former USAID Cambodia Mission Director and Team Leader of USAID Greening Prey Lang project.

According to the Ministry of Environment, Ms. Rebecca Black lauded the good cooperation between the ministry and USAID in natural resource protection, biodiversity conservation and sustainable living, and told H.E. Minister of her week-long mission in Cambodia.

For his part, H.E. Say Samal expressed welcome to Ms. Rebecca Black and her teammates and added that USAID Greening Prey Lang project has contributed to the natural resource protection efforts of the Royal Government.

The environment minister requested USAID to continue supporting and working with the ministry to protect Cambodian natural protected areas, particularly Prey Lang, to promote environmental literacy among children and youth, and so on.
