Cambodian Prime Minister to Attend One Health Summit in France

Lyon: Samdech Moha Borvor Thipadei HUN Manet, Prime Minister of the Kingdom of Cambodia, will lead a high-level delegation to attend the One Health Summit and pay a working visit in Lyon and Paris, France, from April 6 to 9, 2026, at the invitation of French President H.E. Emmanuel MACRON.

According to Agence Kampuchea Presse, a press release issued by the Ministry of Foreign Affairs and International Cooperation on Friday highlighted that the One Health Summit is a part of the 9th edition of the One Planet Summit. As a flagship event under France's presidency of the G7 in 2026, it serves as a platform for Heads of State and Government, representatives of international organizations, civil society, scientists, and multilateral development banks. The summit aims to address the interconnected challenges of human health, animal health, and ecosystems.

Samdech Thipadei and Lok Chumteav Dr. PICH Chanmony Hun Manet will be accompanied by H.E. PRAK Sokhonn, Deputy Prime Minister and Minister of Foreign Affairs and International Cooperation, along with other Deputy Prime Ministers, Ministers, and senior officials of the Royal Government of Cambodia.

During his stay in France, the Prime Minister is scheduled to hold bilateral meetings with French dignitaries and leaders of other countries. These meetings are intended to exchange views on further strengthening bilateral relations and expanding cooperation across a wide range of sectors.
