Cambodian Products Shine at London International Trade Fair

London: Cambodia's key products were prominently showcased at the International Food and Drink Event (IFE London 2026) from March 30 to April 1 at the ExCeL London Exhibition Centre in the United Kingdom. H.E. Tith Seychanly, Director General of the General Directorate of Trade Promotion and Policies, led a technical working group alongside representatives from the Cambodian private sector to participate in this prestigious event.

According to Agence Kampuchea Presse, the Cambodian booths were inaugurated by H.E. Ms. Tuot Panha, Ambassador of the Kingdom of Cambodia to the United Kingdom of Great Britain and Northern Ireland. She expressed her support and encouragement to Cambodian enterprises in their efforts to promote high-quality Cambodian products in the UK and European markets.

The International Food and Drink Event (IFE) is recognized as one of the premier trade fairs for the food and beverage industry in the United Kingdom, held under the theme 'Feeding the Future.' This year, the United Kingdom Trade Partnerships Programme (UKTP), funded by the Foreign, Commonwealth and Development Office (FCDO) and implemented by the International Trade Centre (ITC) in collaboration with Cambodia's Ministry of Commerce, coordinated the participation of three high-potential Cambodian enterprises. These enterprises, Amru Rice (Cambodia) Co., Ltd., MISOTA, and Handcrafted Cashew Nuts Stung Treng (HCST), showcased their products at the multi-country pavilion.

This initiative provided targeted support to Cambodian exporters, enabling them to present high-quality, responsibly sourced agri-food products to the UK and European markets. H.E. Tith Seychaanly emphasized the strategic importance of strengthening the presence of Cambodian products in international markets, particularly those that meet international standards.

The exhibition offered Cambodian companies valuable opportunities to engage in business-to-business meetings with prospective buyers among more than 25,000 trade visitors from over 90 countries. Participation in this world-class exhibition is part of the Ministry of Commerce's broader strategy to diversify export markets and enhance the global profile of Cambodian agri-food products, as noted by H.E. Tith Seychanly.
