Cambodian Senate President Sends New Year Greetings to Chinese Leaders

Phnom penh: Samdech Akka Moha Sena Padei Techo Hun Sen, President of the Senate of the Kingdom of Cambodia, extended his New Year congratulations to Chinese leaders on February 12. In separate messages, he conveyed his sincere greetings and best wishes on the occasion of the Chinese New Year, known as the Year of the Fire Horse.

According to Agence Kampuchea Presse, the Cambodian Senate President addressed his messages to key Chinese figures, including H.E. Xi Jinping, President and General Secretary of the Communist Party of China (CPC) Central Committee; H.E. Zhao Leji, Chairman of the Standing Committee of the National People's Congress (NPC); and H.E. Li Qiang, Premier of the State Council. In his messages, Hun Sen expressed his pleasure in sending warmest greetings to the leaders, the CPC, and the people of China.

Hun Sen emphasized his belief that the Year of the Horse would enhance the strong ties between Cambodia and China. He highlighted the significance of the Comprehensive Strategic Partnership of Cooperation and the ongoing development of the All-Weather Cambodia-China Community with a Shared Future in the New Era.

The Senate President concluded by wishing the Chinese leaders continued health, happiness, and success, along with prosperity and well-being for the Chinese populace.
