The gold medal clinched by Cambodia in Vovinam this morning was in Individual Self Defence Show at the 32nd SEA Games 2023, held at the Chroy Changvar International Convention and Exhibition Centre in Phnom Penh.
The gold medalist was Ly Boramy who defeated his rivals with the top score of (272), followed by Vietnam (267), Thailand (260), and Myanmar (259).
However, Cambodia did not perform well for Pair Women' Self Defence when Sok Nydanuth and Pov Sokha got the lowest score of 261. While Myanmar stood at the top score list (272), both Indonesia and Thailand earned the same points (263).
For Four Men' Self Defence, Cambodia ranked 3rd with a total point of 263, preceded by Myanmar (272), Vietnam (267), and followed by Indonesia (259) and Lao PDR (252).
