New delhi: H.E. Mrs. Cham Nimul, Minister of Commerce, engaged in discussions with members of the Federation of Indian Chambers of Commerce and Industry (FICCI), led by Mr. Chetan Bijesure, Deputy Secretary General of FICCI, during a meeting in New Delhi, India.
According to Agence Kampuchea Presse, FICCI members expressed their intent to expand economic and trade activities with Cambodia. They proposed utilizing the Cambodia-India Joint Business Council as a platform to promote cooperation between the two nations.
H.E. Mrs. Cham Nimul responded by encouraging FICCI members to increase their investments in Cambodia's potential sectors. She emphasized the importance of working closely with Cambodian private sector partners to strengthen trade and investment connections between businessmen and investors from both countries.
The Federation of Indian Chambers of Commerce and Industry, established in 1927, serves as the voice of Indian business and industry. It represents approximately 250,000 companies from both private and public sectors.
