Phnom penh: H.E Cham Nimul, Minister of Commerce, received here on Nov. 27 a courtesy call from Ms. Tania Meyer, Country Manager of the World Bank for Cambodia, and her colleagues to discuss and strengthen partnership and cooperation in support of trade development in Cambodia.
According to Agence Kampuchea Presse, in the meeting, H.E Minister highlighted the efforts of the Ministry of Commerce to improve trade facilitation and enhance a more competitive business environment, promote paperless trade, and prepare for the transition from the Least Developed Countries (LDCs) status.
Ms. Tania Meyer highly valued the close cooperation with the Ministry of Commerce and affirmed the World Bank's participation to strengthen cooperation and implement projects in an effective manner.
