COVID-19: Cambodia Reports Two More Cured Cases

Two more cases of the novel coronavirus  (COVID-19) have been successfully recovered, bringing the total number of cured patients to 164, according to a new press release of the Ministry of Health issued this morning.

The figure represents 70.09 percent of the total 234 confirmed cases in the Kingdom, it underlined.

According to the press release, the two cured patients are Cambodians aged 24 and 28 years old returning from Indonesia and Russia. They have been allowed to be discharged after being tested negative twice consecutively.

The 234 confirmed cases in Cambodia include 154 Cambodians, 40 French, 13 Malaysians, 7 Indonesians, 5 British, 5 Americans, 3 Chinese, 3 Vietnamese, 2 Canadians, 1 Belgian, and 1 Indian.

Since the first case detected in Preah Sihanouk province in late January, the COVID-19 pandemic has so far hit 13 provinces and capital of Cambodia.
