Coway Q1 net income up 1.9 pct to 127.7 bln won

Coway Co. on Friday reported its first-quarter net profit of 127.7 billion won (US$93.3 million), up 1.9 percent from a year earlier. The company said in a regulatory filing that operating profit for the January-March period rose 10.3 percent on-year to 193.7 billion won. Sales increased 5.6 percent to 1 trillion won.
