Phnom penh: Samdech Akka Moha Sena Padei Techo Hun Sen, President of the ruling Cambodian People's Party (CPP), has sent a congratulatory message to H.E. To Lam on his re-election as General Secretary of the Central Committee of the Communist Party of Viet Nam (CPV) at the 14th National Congress of the CPV.
According to Agence Kampuchea Presse, Hun Sen expressed his warmest congratulations on behalf of the Central Committee of the CPP and himself. He emphasized that To Lam's re-election is a testament to the trust and confidence that the CPV and the Vietnamese people have in his leadership. Hun Sen highlighted To Lam's role in ensuring sustained peace, stability, prosperity, and enhancing Viet Nam's international standing.
Hun Sen conveyed his belief that under To Lam's leadership, the CPV will gain further support from the Vietnamese people and succeed in implementing policies from the 14th National Congress. He expressed confidence in strengthening the bond between the two parties and countries, emphasizing 'good neighbourliness, traditional friendship, comprehensive cooperation, and long-term stability.'
The CPP President also wished To Lam good health, happiness, and success in his efforts to ensure the well-being and prosperity of the Vietnamese people.
