DPM Sun Chanthol Meets Indonesian Ambassador for Farewell Visit

Phnom penh: H.E. Sun Chanthol, Deputy Prime Minister and First Vice Chairman of the Council for the Development of Cambodia, welcomed H.E. Santo Darmosumarto, Ambassador Extraordinary and Plenipotentiary of the Republic of Indonesia to Cambodia, during a farewell visit marking the conclusion of the Ambassador's diplomatic mission in the Kingdom.

According to Agence Kampuchea Presse, the meeting served as a platform to discuss key achievements fostered during the Ambassador's tenure. These included efforts to enhance business connectivity and increase trade volume, notably through encouraging exchange visits between investors from both countries. This initiative has facilitated a better understanding of investment potential and supported the operations and expansion of Indonesian companies in Cambodia.

Deputy Prime Minister Sun Chanthol conveyed his appreciation for the Ambassador's contributions, which have played a crucial role in reinforcing the friendship and cooperation between Cambodia and Indonesia, especially in economic, trade, and investment sectors.
