EuroCham Cambodia to Launch White Book 2019: Vital Trade and Investment Policy Recommendations

EuroCham Cambodia will launch an essential documentation of policy recommendations for trade and investment in the Kingdom called White Book 2019 during the in-coming Cambodia-EU Business Dialogue on July 1.

To take place at Raffles Hotel Le Royal here in Phnom Penh, the event as planned will be presided over by H.E. Sok Chenda Sophea, Minister Attached to the Prime Minister and Secretary General of the Council for the Development of Cambodia, along with the Chairman of EuroCham Mr. Arnaud Darc, and Ambassador of the European Union to Cambodia H.E. George Edgar.

It expected the participation of panelists, relevant senior members of the Royal Government of Cambodia, European Union officials, as well as representatives of active European and Cambodian business communities in the Kingdom.

According to EuroCamb, the White Book 2019 is a set of policy recommendations for trade and investment representing the collective voice of the Royal Government and the chamber's members aiming to improve Cambodia's ease of doing business.

The White Book was considered as an effective tool and the chamber's biggest accomplishment so far in contribution to the entire private sector in Cambodia, European and beyond.

Along with the launch of the documentation of policy recommendations, it will come the Cambodia-EU Business entailing a series of panel discussions and updates on the increased potential of Cambodia as an investor-friendly destination, particularly with the view to attract European business.

Established in June 2011, the EuroCham Cambodia aims to promote the interests of European businesses operating in the country, facilitating the entry of European companies into the market and creating an extensive support network among corporate and individual members.

The chamber has been very active in building partnerships with the governments in the areas of taxation and dispute resolution, the creation of sector-specific Committees under the EuroCham umbrella and provision of a range of services to European businesses.
