FBM KLCI Futures Close Higher

KUALA LUMPUR, The FTSE Bursa Malaysia KLCI (FBM KLCI) futures contract on Bursa Malaysia Derivatives closed higher today. The August 2024 contract bagged 6.0 points to 1,617.00, September 2024 gained 4.5 points to 1,598.00, December 2024 put on 5.5 points to 1,603.50, and March 2025 climbed 4.0 points to 1,587.50. Turnover increased to 7,480 lots from 7,211 on Tuesday while open interest slid marginally to 46,573 contracts from 46,629 previously. At 5 pm, the FBM KLCI rose by 0.17 per cent or 2.83 points to 1,612.35 compared with Tuesday's close of 1,609.52. Source: BERNAMA News Agency
