JOHOR BAHRU, Former nasyid band In-Team member, Mohd Suhaimi Saad, 43, died at the Sultan Ismail Hospital, here tonight.
State Health director Dr. Mohtar Pungut@ Ahmad confirmed the matter and said Mohd Suhaimi, who had been admitted to the hospital on Nov 10, died at 7.40 pm due to septic shock with multiorgan failure.
His remains have been claimed by the family, he told Bernama when contacted a short while ago.
Earlier, news of Mohd Suhaimi's death was shared by the nasyid band on its official Facebook page.
"Our condolences to all the family members. May all affairs be made easier. May God place the deceased among those who believe and do righteous deeds," the post read.
Yesterday, the media reported that the singer was receiving treatment at the Intensive Care Unit of a hospital here.
