Korea CEO Summit Co., Ltd. has been studying investment potential and opportunities in Cambodia in the areas of electronics and automobile, agriculture, telecommunications, heath, education, and development of special economic zone, etc. The intention was revealed by visiting Mr. Park Bong Kyu, Chairman of Korea CEO Summit Co., Ltd. and CICON, while meeting with H.E. SUON Sophal, Deputy Secretary General of Cambodian Investment Board of the Council for the Development of Cambodia (CDC), at the CDC's headquarters in Phnom Penh this morning. On the occasion, H.E. SUON Sophal welcomed the company's investment plan in Cambodia, and informed his guest about the country's favourable investment environment such as political and economic stability, young and dynamic labour forces, and incentive of the Royal Government of Cambodia. He also underlined the adoption of government-private forum mechanism, which allows the private sector to address their requests and challenges with solutions, including a mechanism of Korea Desk.
