Phnom penh: H.E. Nhim Khamera, Permanent Secretary of State of the Ministry of Industry, Science, Technology and Innovation (MISTI), held a meeting with H.E. Darius GAIDYS, the Ambassador of Lithuania to Cambodia, and Ms. Saule Rasickiene, Deputy Head of Mission of the Embassy. In this meeting, both parties explored cooperation in the areas of small and medium enterprises (SMEs), science, technology, and innovation (STI), and data management systems, with a particular focus on digital governance.
According to Agence Kampuchea Presse, the delegation offered to provide training and share experiences in data management with MISTI. This could involve sending MISTI officials to study in Lithuania, or alternatively, deploying Lithuanian experts to provide training in Cambodia. H.E. Nhim Khamera shared with the delegation MISTI's mandates and welcomed the proposed cooperation.
