Minister of Health Visits Wounded Soldiers and Civilians in Siem Reap Hospitals

Siem reap: H.E. Prof. Chheang Ra, Minister of Health, visited wounded civilians and soldiers on July 28 evening to offer his support and assess their medical care at Siem Reap's January 16 Referral Hospital and Kulen Health Centre.

According to Agence Kampuchea Presse, Minister Chheang Ra was accompanied by senior health officials during his visit. He commended the medical teams for their dedication and urged enhanced coordination among staff to ensure optimal patient care. The Minister emphasized the significance of utilizing all available resources to provide the highest standard of treatment, particularly for injured military personnel.

H.E. Minister Chheang Ra stated, 'In these challenging times, our health workers must remain unwavering in their commitment to the people.' He praised their tireless efforts, unity, and professionalism, reinforcing the principle that 'doctors are the army in white coats.'

The visit highlighted the Royal Government's ongoing support for both healthcare workers and those affected by recent conflicts, reaffirming the Ministry of Health's commitment to public welfare.
