Ministry and AUF Collaborate on Francophonie Summit Preparations in Cambodia

Phnom penh: The Ministry of Education, Youth and Sport and the Agence Universitaire de la Francophonie (AUF) Asia-Pacific Region have discussed preparations for activities related to the 20th Francophonie Summit, scheduled to take place in Phnom Penh in November. The meeting took place on March 27 and involved H.E. Dr. Hang Chuon Naron, Deputy Prime Minister and Minister of Education, Youth and Sport, and Prof. Nicolas Manetti, Regional Director of the AUF Asia-Pacific Region.

According to Agence Kampuchea Presse, Prof. Nicolas Manetti emphasized the AUF's ongoing collaboration with the Ministry in promoting higher education in Cambodia. He also discussed the relocation of the AUF Asia-Pacific regional office to the Kingdom, reaffirming the AUF's commitment to strengthening cooperation and supporting Cambodia in various sectors.

H.E. Dr. Hang Chuon Naron expressed appreciation for the AUF's collaboration with the Ministry, highlighting its role in improving education in Cambodia, particularly in French language education at the higher education level. He encouraged further expansion of training courses, workshops, and online knowledge-sharing sessions to boost student participation in research.
