Cambodian Ministry of Education, Youth and Sports (MoEYS) has established a Research Creativity and Innovation Fund (RCI Fund) to contribute to promoting the culture of research, creativity and innovation for the benefit of the education, youth and sports in response to the labour market and globalisation.
According to an MOEYS’ press release made public yesterday, the RCI Fund will provide financial support for three priority topics – Digitalisation for the Industrial Revolution 4.0, which focuses on digital education, digital economy, and digital application; Applied Agricultural Research; and 21st Century Pedagogy Research focusing on virtual classrooms, education response to COVID-19, small research grant for students, and RCI award.
All proposals need to achieve tangible result that can be used immediately, resolve current challenges in connection with industrial development need in the Cambodian context, underlined the same source.
The press release also gave details on application process and necessary documents, stressing that there is no deadline for the application.
