Phnom penh: The Ministry of Tourism, alongside CamGSM (Cellcard) and PRAVIYA, has forged a partnership aimed at driving digital transformation in the promotion of Cambodia’s tourism sector. This collaboration was formalized with the signing of a Memorandum of Understanding (MoU) on November 28, presided over by H.E. Huot Hak, Minister of Tourism, and Neak Oknha Kith Meng, President of the Cambodia Chamber of Commerce, among other notable figures. The event saw the participation of approximately 200 national and international guests, including representatives from CamGSM and PRAVIYA.
According to Agence Kampuchea Presse, this partnership will see the Ministry of Tourism working with PRAVIYA to develop a digital platform, including a website and a Visit Cambodia App (Super App), which is expected to launch soon. The Super App, in collaboration with Cellcard, will incorporate additional features designed to enhance convenience and provide benefits to international tourists visiting Cambodia.
During the signing ceremony, H.E. Minister Huot Hak expressed his gratitude to Neak Oknha Kith Meng for his unwavering support of the Ministry’s initiatives. The contributions of the Cambodia Chamber of Commerce have bolstered Cambodia’s tourism sector, significantly impacting the national economy and enhancing the country’s reputation on the global stage.
