Phnom Penh: The Ministry of Industry, Science, Technology and Innovation (MISTI) has reaffirmed its commitment to enhance product quality and standardisation. At an economic diplomacy briefing for Cambodian diplomats, organised at Hyatt Phnom Penh Hotel on Nov. 12 by the Ministry of Foreign Affairs and International Cooperation, H.E. Dav Ansan, Secretary of State at MISTI, highlighted that a core mandate of the ministry is to drive value addition and contribute to economic growth by enhancing the quality and standardisation of Cambodian products. According to Agence Kampuchea Presse, the ministry is providing comprehensive support services, including clean water supply, a business-friendly environment, and facilitation for producers, entrepreneurs, and industrialists to focus on compliance and product quality, thereby strengthening their competitiveness. H.E. Dav Ansan also outlined the Royal Government of Cambodia's strategic priorities, emphasising MISTI's role in these initiatives.
