MoT and Cambodia Hotel Association Collaborate to Boost Tourism

Phnom penh: The Ministry of Tourism (MoT) and the Cambodia Hotel Association (CHA) have reaffirmed their commitment to strengthening their partnership to promote Cambodia's tourism destinations to domestic and international markets.

According to Agence Kampuchea Presse, the commitment was made during a meeting between Minister of Tourism H.E. Huot Hak and the CHA. The meeting aimed to enhance cooperation between the Ministry of Tourism and the Association, focusing on measures to sustain the tourism sector's resilience and accelerate the momentum of Cambodia's tourism industry to maintain regional competitiveness, as stated in a news release by the Ministry.

H.E. Huot Hak informed CHA members about significant upcoming international events in Cambodia, particularly the 20th Francophonie Summit, slated for November 2026. The summit is expected to attract leaders from numerous countries, international journalists, and thousands of participants globally.

The Minister also provided guidance to CHA members on enhancing Cambodia's image internationally, specifically in the tourism, hospitality, accommodation, and food and beverage sectors.
