MoU Signed to Promote Technical Skills and Diversifying Career Opportunities

Phnom penh: The Industrial Technical Institute (ITI), alongside ten associations, companies, and educational institutions, has signed a Memorandum of Understanding aimed at strengthening technical skills and diversifying career opportunities.

According to Agence Kampuchea Presse, the MoU signing ceremony took place on January 12 under the presidency of H.E. Haing Tola, Secretary of State at the Ministry of Labour and Vocational Training (MoLVT). The event saw participation from leaders and representatives of the relevant partners, totaling 110 individuals.

The collaboration is designed to enhance the training system, focusing on developing curricula tailored to company needs, offering internship opportunities, aiding staff recruitment, and providing scholarships for students and technical officials. Partnered institutions will contribute by sending experts to serve as instructors and guest speakers, bringing practical experience into the classroom and supervising theses.

Furthermore, instructors from the institute will gain direct practical work experience within the industrial sector. The collaboration will also encompass research and competency testing and assessment, ensuring the development of high-capacity human resources that align with the Ministry's standards.
