Phnom penh: The President of the Republic of the Philippines, H.E. Ferdinand Romualdez Marcos Jr., accompanied by First Lady Louise Araneta-Marcos, will undertake a three-day State Visit to the Kingdom of Cambodia from September 7-9, 2025. This visit comes at the invitation of His Majesty Preah Bat Samdech Preah Boromneath Norodom Sihamoni, King of Cambodia.
According to Agence Kampuchea Presse, during his visit, President Marcos Jr. will engage in a courtesy call with Samdech Akka Moha Sena Padei Techo Hun Sen, Acting Head of State, and hold bilateral discussions with Samdech Moha Borvor Thipadei Hun Manet, Prime Minister of Cambodia, at the Peace Palace. The discussions will aim to further deepen the relations and enhance cooperation between the two countries, alongside exchanging views on regional and international issues of mutual concern.
The visit will also include the signing of several bilateral cooperation documents. Additionally, President Marcos Jr. will lay wreaths at the Independence Monument and at the Royal Memorial of His Majesty Preah Bat Samdech Preah Norodom Sihanouk ‘Preah Borom Ratanak Kaudh,’ the late King-Father of Cambodia.
The State Visit is anticipated to strengthen the bonds of friendship, solidarity, and cooperation between Cambodia and the Philippines.
